The Voice will never be enough for singer Juliet Simms, as since her 2012 run on the hit TV show this rocker femme fatal has skyrocketed her singing career. With the release of her 2015 EP All Or Nothing, being on various Warped Tours and even getting married to longtime boyfriend, this past year has been a whirlwind for Simms and she’s not stopping anytime soon.
Simms has announced the release of her next EP entitled From The Grave, coming to the music scene on July 15, 2016. Simms credits fellow cowriters like Boys Like Girls who helped to co-write a track titled “Get Ready” and showcases her grit and personality in other tracks like “Say Hello” that highlight the album. A tribute to the late Nirvana frontman also makes the album with a song titled “Frances”, as Simms states, ” I was a huge fan of both [Kurt Cobain and Courtney Love] since I was a little girl, I was hugely affected by both films Montage of Heck and Soaked In Bleach and the new things I learn inspired me to write poetry.”
Juliet Simms always comes out with a fire, and like a “Pheonix” she is learning to fly high and we are super excited to hear more from this talented artist. Make sure to Pre-Order From The Grave here, listen to “Pheonix” below the jump and buy any concert tickets here or purchase cds here!
