On March 21, Against Me! front-woman, Laura Jane Grace, took to Instagram to announce a new project: she has written a memoir with Noisey editor, Dan OzziTranny: Confessions Of Punk Rock’s Most Infamous Anarchist Sellout, will be released by Hachette Books on November 15, 2016.

“The book mixes narrative about Laura’s life — growing up with dysphoria and playing in our generation’s most influential punk band — with amazing journal entries she’s been keeping since she was a kid,” Ozzi told Entertainment Weekly.

Grace came out as transgender in a 2012 interview with Rolling Stone‘s Josh Eells. Against Me! followed the interview with their 2014 release, Transgender Dysphoria Blues (Total Treble MusicXTra Miles Recordings), an excellent and riveting in-your-face celebration of unapologetic truth.

The cover art for Tranny was done by Christopher Norris, who also made the art for Transgender Dysphoria Blues. You can preview the cover after the jump. To pre-order the book, click here. To purchase CDs or buy concert tickets, click here.
