The weather and traffic battled it out for which would be worse last Thursday evening during my drive to Oakland, CA. The traffic won. Sacramento has a new-ish venue called Ace of Spades, just on the outskirts of the downtown, state capital. Set among both residential and commercial buildings, this club was the site of the L.A. band Charming Liars‘ support set to Night Riots and veteran act Blaqk Audio last Saturday night.
