Unfortunately for all of us out there with a little less cash after this summer’s festivals, tickets for September Riot Fest in Denver are going quickly. The line up in Denver includes bands like The Cure, Weezer, Social Distortion, Wu-Tang, A Day to Remember, Stiff Little Fingers, Me First and the Gimme Gimmes, NOFX, The Bouncing Souls, Manchester Orchestra, Red City Radio and Gogol Bordello (to name a few that always put on rad live shows).
If you are planning on going the traditional route, grab your passes soon because the cheaper tiers are selling fast. You can buy concert tickets here. Check out how to enter to win the passes below.
Lucky for someone, Denver’s own For The Love of Punk has a chance for you to win two 3-day passes for Riot Fest in Denver. It involves checking out the site and sharing your love for FTLP for your chance to grab the passes. You can get full contest details here.
The article also mentions a tradition much appreciated by some of the Denver crew: shuttle service from Illegal Pete’s to and from the camp/festival grounds in Byers, CO on a daily basis (if you can’t or don’t feel like camping in the unpredictable Colorado weather). You can find out about shuttle pricing and packages here. The contest winner also gets this free service, and I believe a unbelievable burrito and some Colorado microbrews.
Also, check out this throwback video from the Cure in honor of their appearance on Riot Fest, punk/hardcore/indie music love, and this Friday morning:
