Elton John Announces Plans To Collaborate On Upcoming Killers Album

The KillersThe world could get a new Killers record before the end of 2016, and there’s a chance Elton John will be in the credits. In a promotional interview with Shazam, John revealed plans to hit the studio with frontman Brandon Flowers and company to collaborate on the group’s forthcoming album.

“I’m hoping to go to Vegas and write with Brandon for the new Killers record,” John said. “I’m leaving today. So that’ll be interesting.”

Up until this point, details regarding the Killers’ follow-up to 2012’s Battle Born have been limited, with Flowers only confirming the group is currently working on new music to share hopefully “at the end of 2016”.

Flowers is a noted Elton John fan, and recently collaborated with the legendary musician on his Beats 1 radio show.
