Infectious is thrilled to bring you the premiere of Nashville singer-songwriter Jon Pattie‘s brand new EP, Reflections Vol 1.
A powerful 3-song EP filled with catchy chorus’, a powerfully retrospective energy, and lyrics that get inside your soul and make you really feel what you’re hearing, Reflections Vol 1 is the perfect introduction to Jon Pattie.
“All of the songs on the EP tackle a hard truth from not being satisfied with my career path at the time to my search for true, internal happiness, explains Jon. “When we started building the songs out, each one took on its own voice and emotions. Music has always been a way for me to understand my own emotions and this is especially true for this EP. I’m excited to be able to share this music with others in hopes that they can connect with the songs like I have.”
The first in a series of four EP releases, Reflections Vol. 1 begins the story of Jon Pattie. With each EP acting as a new chapter in an ongoing story, they’ll contain songs that reveal a different facet of Jon’s personality while recounting his journey and exploration of himself, and his evolving narrative about the search for who he is and the man he wants to be.
“As of the last year I have been asking myself, ‘Who is Jon Pattie,’ and I have had a lot of difficulty answering that question,” Pattie reveals. “I’ve been struggling to define myself and have confidence in who I am as a person and individual. A lot of the songs off of these upcoming releases are written about me exploring my emotions and who I am. I’ve always used writing and music to express myself and figure out how I am feeling about life in general. These songs will portray a 24-year-old man growing up in the 21st century and finding out what and how he wants to leave his mark in life.”
