Lausanne Show Cancelled
Sigh. This really isn’t my month. I’ve been following doctor’s orders on the road, doing my physiotherapy and so on, being pretty studious about it.
Alas this last run of shows has been pretty heavy even by normal standards and I find myself today waking up with a plethora of problems.
My back isn’t any worse, but my left foot is kinda fucked (my back problems are on my right side so I’ve been putting more weight on the left to compensate, I feel like a Chuckle Brothers sketch).
My voice is also pretty worn out right now. All things considered, the doctors have told me to rest and not to play tonight’s show in Lausanne. That gives me two days to recover and then we continue the tour as advertised.
Of course, cancelling a show is something I hate doing, and I can only throw myself on the mercy of the good people of Lausanne for my weakness. We are working right now on rescheduling the show in Lausanne. I’ll be posting details on that as soon as possible.
All tickets will be valid for the new date so wait for the announcement in the coming weeks. That said, I know of course that pulling a show lets people down, and I’m sorry for that.
Right, recovery mode for me. See you in Stuttgart.
