It has been some time since From First To Last released their excellent comeback album, Dead Trees. While Periphery vocalist Spencer Sotelo did a fantastic job performing vocal duties, many fans ached for original vocalist Sonny Moore – who now is killing the EDM scene under the moniker Skrillex – to reunite with the band.
Given the differing genres and Skrillex’s success in the EDM scene, a reunion seemed far-fetched, but Moore may be heading back to collaborate with his old band of brothers after all! Last night, he appeared on a Beats 1 radio show, put on by his label, on Apple Music.
While the stream went on, a song containing some strong FFTL vibes played in the background, featuring vocals that seemed to be by Moore himself. He simply called it “Bonus Track” – which has lead some fans to believe it is a cut demo from Moore’s time in the band.
This is where things get interesting – From First To Last, who have not had all that much social media activity as of late – shared the episode with a simple heart as a caption on Facebook. Alternative Press also reported on the situation, speculating on if Moore is returning in a news story. This was also shared by the band on social media with a coy heart emoji.
Whether it is for one song or a whole new album, it would certainly be exciting to hear Sonny Moore as From First To Last’s vocalist again!
Check out the vague Facebook posts from the band after the jump, and speculate!
