My name is Rich Antonelli and I want to take this opportunity to let you know about a project that I’ve just recently completed. Back in March of 2010, my then 7 year old daughter was diagnosed with Crohn’s disease, a type of inflammatory bowel disease that may affect any part of the gastrointestinal tract, causing pain, weight loss and other complications. It’s been 3 years now and Hasbro Children’s Hospital in Providence, RI has been a godsend for her and my family.
As a father, I wanted to do something positive for the whole situation and being a musician, I decided to record a guitar instrumental CD. I’ve put out CDs in the past with my bands, shared the stage with a who’s who of ’80s rock and played some pretty big venue,s but this CD is what I’m most proud of.
Voiceless was released on April 23rd and I am donating ALL net proceeds to Hasbro. The album is a mix of rockers and ballads in the style of the 80’s with some modern touches. I’m hoping that if you’re reading this, you will take a few minutes to check out some of the song samples. If you like what you hear, know that by purchasing a copy, you are helping a great cause AND you get some new music for doing so. Voiceless was recorded entirely at home on my laptop with the help of a few friends.
Visit here to learn more about “Voiceless” and to purchase your copy. Thank you to Infectious Magazine for allowing me to let your readers know about something very important to me….see you soon!
