LISTEN: Candy Hearts Changes Name to Best Ex and Release New Single “Girlfriend”

Pop punk outlet Candy Hearts are headed in a new direction, changing their name to Best Ex and releasing a track titled “Girlfriend.”

After touring under the moniker Candy Hearts since 2009, lead vocalist and songwriter Mariel Loveland decided to revamp her brand, telling her fans “Best Ex is taking everything that Candy Hearts is — everything that I am — and giving it a breakup makeover.”
