Live Review: EDEN

I’ve seen EDEN’s live set twice. Both times were an experience that is hard to put into words, similar to how its almost impossible to describe the genre of his music.

This was the third leg of his Vertigo Tour, which coincided with his newest album of the same name. EDEN’s sets are pretty similar tour to tour, typically adding in any new songs he’s released. The most unique part of his performances to me is that its all about the music. You’re probably thinking, “duh its all about the music”, but with EDEN, you can tell he wants the audience to enjoy the music, experience and overall environment.

Typically back in the shadows, EDEN and his band are accompanied by bright lights, fog machines and strobes that are perfectly times to the music. The production of the show is an art in itself, but combining the lyrics and melodies of EDEN, any newcomer to his music can get a taste of what he is all about.

No matter what genre of music you’re into, EDEN has a song that falls smoothly into rock, rap, pop, or techno.

Tickets are still available for Part 3 and 4 of this tour in the US and then will be heading out to Europe and Germany.
