morrissey postEver wondered what it would be like to have Morrissey (solo artist and former lead singer for The Smiths) just inches from your face as the two of you sing, “I am human and I need to be loved,” to one another? Well, if so, you just may be in luck.

Following Morrissey’s performance in March of this year at the Hollywood High School auditorium in LA, Pitchfork announced that they would be releasing the concert footage on DVD.

What’s more, is Morrissey’s nephew, Sam Esty Rayner, says that the film is  not only going to be on DVD but that it will be featured on IMAX 3D as well and is expected to be shown in 47 theatres across the United States.

While there have been no official statements from Morrissey himself regarding either the DVD or the theatre release, the film was mentioned in the spring 2013 catalog from Eagle Vision.

I'm a journalism student at UWF in my junior year currently living just outside of Pensacola, FL. I'm 27 years old. I like music. Lots of music. Live music. Headphone music. Car speaker music is real good. Food is also real good. Too good. I eat sushi with chopsticks because it makes me feel more legit.
