Pharrell Williams will be the author of four picture books made for children. All of these books will feature children around the world dancing to his hit song “Happy”. Pharrell explained his reasoning for writing by saying “I’m humbled by the global success of “Happy,” but especially in awe of the song’s young fans. My collaboration with Penguin allows me to continue a dialogue with these children in a fresh, new way. We’re both committed to feeding the curiosity of young minds with imagination.”
Notable is that Pharrell Williams has already written a book, back in 2012 when he chronicled his “contribution to contemporary culture” in his book “Places And Spaces I’ve Been”. He is also a veteran songwriter, so writing should come easy for Pharrell by now.
