X Ambassadors played a sold out show at House of Blues in Chicago on their VHS 2.0 Tour. After shooting the band for the first time a little over a year ago, their stage presence and live show has grown and become even more dynamic. When lead vocals, guitar, and saxophone Sam Harris wasn’t wrecking the stage with his instruments, his feet rarely were on the ground. The crowd feed off his movement. Movement and energy runs in the Harris family. While Sam Harris had the whole stage to jump around on, his brother, keyboardist Casey Harris gave the most energy-filled performance I’ve ever seen on the keys. With a very brief window between the set and encore, the band played “Jungle” and then “Renegades,”which has been played nonstop on radios across the country. It won’t be long until X Ambassadors is selling out arenas instead of clubs.
