Postal Service Play Last Show

The Postal ServicePostal Service’s singer, Ben Gibbard, told the crowd the other night, “Not only will this be the last song of the tour, this is the last song we will ever do.”

Following this he posted a message on Postal Service’s official website that said, “Thanks to everyone who came and saw us this spring/summer. It meant the world to us. And with that, we are closed for business.”

Postal Service formed in 2001 with Death Cab for Cutie singer, Ben Gibbard, Rilo Kiley singer, Jenny Lewis and producer, Jimmy Tamborello.

The band released one album, Give Up in 2003 before dissolving. They reunited in 2013 to tour for a 10th anniversary reissue of the album.
