I just can’t get away from my intense love of pop-punk, and with Connecticut’s Loner Chic making tunes like the one we’re about to premiere, why would I want to? Blending knowing, sardonic lyrics with a dynamic musical framework, Loner Chic is gearing up to release their debut full-length, Year of the Goth February 19th via Broken World Media. Today, we premiere “Imaginary #2”, and give you a taste of just what these guys are all about.
If you’re lucky enough to be in CT, you can catch their release show with Pinegrove (Run For Cover Records) on February 19th and RSVP here. They’ll also be playing the Funeral Sounds / Broken World Media unofficial SXSW showcase on March 16th. That Facebook event can be found here. Check out the band, purchase a vinyl or cassette here.
