The music of New York punk duo PWR BTTM will be removed from iTunes, Apple Music, Tidal, Google Play and Amazon following sexual assault allegations surrounding member Ben Hopkins.
The announcement comes after an earlier statement from the group’s label Polyvinyl, who removed PWR BTTM from their roster immediately after sexual assault reports emerged.
“In keeping with this philosophy, we want to let everyone know that we are ceasing to sell and distribute PWR BTTM’s music,” posted Polyvinyl on their website.
PWR BTTM has also cancelled all dates of what was supposed to be their summer tour. Their latest album Pageant can still be found on Spotify, but is rumored to be removed shortly as reported by Pitchfork.
