It’s no secret we that love Austin pop-punk five piece, Shadow of Whales. With a sound akin to acts like The Killers, Franz Ferdinand, and Panic! At the Disco, their high energy sound and live show is not to be missed. Luckily, the band is putting on a one-of-a-kind series of sets this March 18th at Six Flags Over Texas, and will be live streaming the event, so you don’t have to miss your new favorite pop-punk band.
Streams will be available on their YouTube channel on March 18th, airing shortly before the first of three 45 minute sets. You can catch them at 7pm, 8pm, or 9pm CST.
Shadow of Whales released their self-titled EP in 2014 and has since played on stages at festivals like Warped Tour and South By So What?!, sharing sets with bands such as Waterparks, Set It Off, Courage My Love and Mayday Parade. Their songs “Dream” and “Fall Back” have been circulated in Starbucks Coffee shops across the US and Canada and charted on CMJ’s Top 200. A new album has been teased for 2017, though the band has yet to release specific details on when and what songs will appear on the record.
