I write with happiness now, to see Zach E. West back in action. It seems that right under our noses he chose to release a futuristic pop song that will be stuck in your head for years to come. Read more to find out what I’m talking about.
The natural build up creates a futuristic feel of the song that just blows your mind. This anthem and its sense of control with the rapping by James Shahan is absolutely phenomenal. Theres so much truth in the lyrics that it can resonate with just about anyone. Coming from someone that has been going through hell and back the last few months the ability to even hear this song for me is a leap forward. “I’m just trying to exist without dying / but there’s no use without music.” Another of my favorite lyrics more towards the beginning of the song, “Should be self-expression and now it’s a form of control / If you really wanted my story, you would let me tell it / Instead of bottling my blood like you ready to sell it.”
In order to get the most out of the song you have to listen to it for yourself. It’s also free for download you can check that out here.
