Mayday Parade released their fifth studio album today titled Black Lines, and let me tell you it’s going to blow you away! As fans have noticed from the tracks the band released previously, they have taken this album in a whole different direction than past albums. The vocals are more raw and the music is a bit darker. The band who has made a name for themselves by creating some of the saddest songs in existence are now edgy and angry – and it’s definitely a breath of fresh air.
You can stream the entire album after the jump! Let us know what your favorite track is in the comments!
Black Lines, at the time of publish, is #1 on the iTunes Alternative charts and fans are going wild for it! You can check out some of the praise they are receiving on Twitter after the jump as well.
To have a copy of Black Lines for yourself or to hear more from Mayday Parade, you can purchase a CD here. Keep in mind (yes, that’s a partial MP pun) if you buy a physical copy of the new album, it comes with a download code to watch the band’s first documentary, Three Cheers For Ten Years.
The band is headlining this year’s AP Tour, with support from As It Is, Real Friends and This Wild Life. To catch them on tour and hear some of these new tracks live, you can buy concert tickets here.
