Trash Boat are getting ready to release their debut album, Nothing I Write You Can Change What You’ve Been Through, on June 17. In anticipation of the release, the UK band released a song titled “The Guise Of A Mother.”

The song has a strong pop-punk vibe. Introspective lyrics, a pushing momentum, and catchy riffs make it an instant crowd-pleaser.

“Echoes in the canyon sing, you don’t over her anything, you don’t owe her anything,” vocalist Tobi Duncan sings, begging listeners to shout along.

To no surprise, the new album was produced by The Wonder Years frontman, Dan Campbell. To hear more from the Hopeless Records band, you can purchase a CD here, or pre-order the new album here.

Trash Boat are kicking off their UK tour with an in-store album release show at Kingston’s Banquet Records on June 17. To see them live, you can buy concert tickets here.
