On the rise pop-punk band, Waterparks, have been making a name for themselves all year, from supporting Good Charlotte on tour and even taking the stage for the first time this summer on 2016 Vans Warped Tour. Now, the trio from Houston, TX have surprised audiences again with a huge announcement, a brand new album coming this fall on November 4th, entitled Double Dare, and the first listen of single “Stupid For You”. Announced via Twitter, the band’s frontman Awsten Knight was teasing something new, as he posted various tweets before the release including some lyrics.
Okay, it's probably about time we let you hear something from the album.

With the first release of single “Stupid For You”, the new full length debut album from Waterparks seems very promising, as Double Dare will be a follow up to two EPs ( 2014’s Black Light and 2016’s Cluster), as well as the band’s 2011 Airplane Conversations.
“Stupid For You” showcases the vocal range of Knight, but also the catchy lyrics and unique sound that defines Waterparks as a band. “Stupid For You” will soon become of my favorites of new releases this fall with the fun lyrics “Hey, can you come out and play? You know I’m stupid for you…” and “You’re playing ring-round my head, I’ll wear you like a halo…” constantly getting stuck in my head from only just a few listens. These Houston boys have a bright future…and I can’t wait to see what this new album brings come November.
