Late sunday night, the metal band Structures was denied accesses to enter the US. The band is from Toronto, Ontario and states that they have never had an issue entering the country. With the band not being able to enter the country, they are in danger of missing this year’s All Star Tour, which kicks off on July 11th. You can read more about the All Star Tour here.
The reason the band was denied access to the country is unknown. Not only is Structures in danger of missing the All Star Tour, but they were also scheduled to play a few off-tour shows in Texas, Alabama, and Pennsylvania. This must be devastating to the band and hopefully things will work out for them.
Recently, Structures released their album Life Through A Window via Sumerian Records. You can purchase a CD here. Check out a statement from the band below after the jump.
Statement Regarding Their Denied Entry:
“We are sad to announce that we were denied access into the United States last night at the border. This is the first time we have ever been turned away from entering the US to tour in the 4 years of being a band, so this is very unsettling for us as it is a matter that is COMPLETELY out of our hands. We can promise everyone who was expecting to see us that we are doing everything in our power to get into the country and we have been on the phone all day sorting out the quickest resolution. We are extremely let down with this situation and will keep you all updated as we hear more.”
