mitch luckerWith more than a year gone since the passing of former Suicide Silence founder and front man, Mitch Lucker, the group has reformed with a new front man, Eddie Hermida, formally of All Shall Perish, and have made public plans for several efforts to memorialize Lucker.

Plans for a new album and the already existing Kenadee Lucker Education Fund, an organization established in the wake of Lucker’s death to raise money for his daughter’s future education have surfaced to bring about a further entrenchment of the impact Lucker left on his fans and the metal community.

Most recently, the band has released plans to produce a CD/DVD package from the Mitch Lucker Memorial Concert which was held at the Fox Theater in Pomona, Cali., Dec. 12.

The DVD will show the concert in its entirety which featured covers of Lucker’s songs by prominent metal front men such as Danny Worsnop of Asking Alexandria , Austin Carlile of Of Mice & Men and EDM star Big Chocolate.

The set will be released Feb. 18.
