A live tribute to the founding member and late keyboardist of The Doors, Ray Manzarek, has been confirmed for later this year. The two surviving members, Robby Krieger and John Densmore, told Rolling Stone that at least one big send off show is in the works. Krieger and Manzarek had begun performing together again in 2011. They had a show in Orange County planned for August of this year, with Krieger gaining knowledge of Manzarek’s cancer only a few months before his passing in May. Both Krieger and Densmore said they hope to see the re-release of 1971’s Other Voices and 1972’s Full Circle this year as well.
