Jack White has been named an Honorary Dean at Mexico City’s Fermatta Music Academy, making him the first Honorary Dean in the history of the Academy. At the Fermatta’s 20th anniversary celebration last week, White made a surprise appearance to give a speech about his family, songwriting, and the influence of Detroit in his life. Nirvana ‘In Utero’ Reissue Tracklist Revealed, 89 Songs

The planned reissue of grunge legend’s Nirvana’s last album In Utero has just had its full, massive tracklist revealed.  This 20th Anniversary edition will include a hefty 89 songs, 60 of which span over 3 CDs and the last 29 coming on a DVD of the band’s Live and Loud show at Pier 38 in Seattle from December 13, 1993.  Read the full listing after the jump, and get the full set in stores September 24. Nirvana ‘In Utero’ Reissue To Include Complete Live Show

There are some big and very exciting announcements concerning the 20th anniversary reissue of Nirvana’s third and final studio album, In Utero. In addition to the original record, it has been revealed that the re-release will include previously unreleased demos, B-sides, live tracks, and a complete live performance. The live performance is a concert film from 1993’s “Live And Loud” show in Seattle and features the grunge legend’s final touring lineup. Surviving Nirvana Members Reunite At Paul McCartney Seattle Show

The surviving members of Nirvana gave their hometown a special treat when they joined Paul McCartney onstage in Seattle late last week.
