Hey Infectious Readers! This past Wednesday night in NYC Amnesty International held a concert at the Barclays Center to call attention to human rights. The concert allowed a younger generation of supporters to join by offering tickets as low as $28. Some of our favorites were there to perform, Tegan and Sara, Imagine Dragons and The Fray. MTV VMA’s Nominees Announced

MTV has announced the nominees for its Video Music Awards (VMA’s for you cool kids), and the list includes Fall Out Boy, fun., and Twenty One Pilots.  The full list is available via video here and in a list form here.  The ceremony will take place through MTV on August 25 at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, with an as-of-yet unannounced host.  Mark your calendars, kids. WATCH: The National FT. St. Vincent Live

Last night The National played a hometown show at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, NY. They started off with a little surprise. The Rolling Stones to Play Barclays Center on Dec. 8th

The Rolling Stones have announced an additional show at the newly-opened Barclays Center in Brooklyn on December 8th. The show was announced today on the band’s web-site and is part of their “50 and Counting” celebration.  Previously announced shows have included two shows in London’s O2 arena for November 25th and 29th and New Jersey’s Prudential Center on December 13th and 15th.  The 3-disc retrospective GRRR! comes out tomorrow (11/12) and includes two new songs, “Doom and Gloom” and “One More Shot” which were recorded this summer.
