Matt Wachter Leaves Angels And Airwaves

After joining Angels and Airwaves in 2007, bassist Matt Wachter has decided to quit the band. Frontman Tom Delonge posted a photo of Wachter on his Instagram yesterday with the caption saying, “We are sad to see him go but the man now has three amazing kids and needs to be at home this year to be a Dad…And of course we support him.” You can check out Delonge’s post after the jump. No Sleep Records recently announced that Old Lines will be joining the No Sleep family. The band has announced that they are currently writing and will start recording new material in March. Old Lines was formed in 2010 in Baltimore. The band consists of guitarist Mitch Roemer, drummer Jake Berry, bassist Pat Martin, and vocalist Matt Taylor. Blink-182 Discuss New Album

Blink-182 vocalist/guitarist Tom DeLonge and bassist/vocalist Mark Hoppus report in an interview with Rolling Stone that the band’s new album is well underway. DeLonge states, “…so we’re three or four steps in, so the actual getting onto the same room and tracking that has not happened yet, but that’s pretty soon.
