Yoko Ono Announces New Album

Yoko Ono has announced that she will release a new EP with the Plastic Ono Band entitled Take Me To The Land Of Hell. The album is due out September 17 via Chimera. Her album will feature the TuNeYaRdS, Wilco’s Nels Cline, ?uestlove and Beastie Boys Remixes. Beastie Boys Planning Memoir

Hip-hop icons The Beastie Boys are in the midst of planning a “multidimensional” memoir.  In true Beasties fashion though, the memoir will be non-traditional according to The New York Times.  The group is interested in “challenging the form and making the book a multidimensional experience,” the publisher at the Spiegel & Grau said.  “There is a kaleidoscopic frame of reference, and it asks a reader to keep up.” The group had been planning a memoir for a while, but it was put on hold due to member Adam “MCA” Yauch’s illness…
