Tom DeLonge (Blink-182, Angels & Airwaves) To Release Children’s Book

Tom DeLonge and illustrator Mike Henry will release a children’s book called The Lonely Astronaut on Christmas Eve, which chronicles a rocketeer spending Christmas alone on the moon visited by extraterrestrials. The book will be available for pre-sale on the Angels & Airwaves website starting Nov. 25 here. DeLonge will also participate in the Lonely Astronaut charity auction featuring a meet and greet, signed guitar, and artwork to benefit the San Diego Rady Children’s Hospital. Neil Young and his wife, Pegi, founded the Bridge School when they were unable to find an adequate educational program for their physically challenged son, Ben. The family first held the benefit, an all-acoustic, non-profit charity concert event, to raise funds for the school in 1986 and it has been staged annually ever since. Randy Blythe Announces New Memoir

Lamb of God frontman Randy Blythe, fresh off fighting an appeal over his manslaughter charges, has announced the release of a new memoir that will detail the events of the Czech trial.  The trial was held due to the death of a fan at the groove metal band’s tour stop in Prague.
