After plenty of teasing and hints, Craig Owens (Chiodos, D.R.U.G.S.) has announced his next venture. His new project is titled badXchannels, and he rolled out the announcement in a big way. Owens announced a tour, an EP (WHYDFML), and premiered a new track. “One Car Funeral” is the debut single, and shows off Owens’ unique pipes with some dreamy R&B beats and an atmospheric vibe. That exciting new project Craig Owens hinted at fairly recently may be hitting the airwaves sooner than expected. According to Owens, the work is just about done. On Instagram, he posted a shot of himself playing some basketball before a recording session. The caption stated it was “time to finish this new album,” so it is a safe bet that the project is wrapped up at this point. Thomas Erak Leaves Chiodos

Guitarist, Thomas Erak, announced via Twitter that he has left Chiodos. Erak has decided to leave the band in order to focus on his other band, Fall of Troy, and his personal life.
