Anberlin’s ‘Never Take Friendship Personal’ Live in NYC Is A Wave Of Nostalgia

The second I hear Stephen Christian’s voice break through the silence via the new Never Take Friendship Personal Live in NYC album, I’m instantly swept into a world of nostalgia. ALBUM REVIEW: Anberlin ‘Lowborn’

When I interviewed Anberlin at this year’s Warped Tour, they mentioned that although very different, Lowborn was one of their proudest works to date. That everything they’d ever wanted to do on a recording, but hadn’t, is on this one. The eclectic mix of sounds is evident, and for those looking for a flow like 2007’s Cities, you won’t find it here. Live Review: Anberlin Boston, MA

Let me preface this by saying that as a long time Anberlin fan, seeing them live never gets old. In fact, if anything it gets better with each passing year as the band continues to hone their craft, and strengthen their seemingly unbreakable bond to create masterpiece after masterpiece in the form of albums, concerts, and audience interaction. So walking into The Paradise in Boston, MA, I can’t help but feel an overwhelming rush at the thought of seeing the band capture another audience. Please follow and like us:
