Hozier, a twenty-three year old Irish musician who seems to be climbing up the fame ladder as of late, has come out with a video for his well-known “Take me to Church.” The video follows a homosexual couple being bashed by religious figures, meant to symbolize the Catholic faith. Hozier, who is heterosexual, was surprised that people were more offended by the gay couple embracing in a long kiss, than the idea of the Catholic religion being at fault for what was basically a hate crime.
