Lynyrd Skynyrd Drummer Bob Burns Dies at 64

Friday night, drummer Robert “Bob” Burns passed away in a car accident. He was 64. He was one of the founders of legendary rock band Lynyrd Skynyrd in 1964, and was a member of the band till 1974, when he decided to quit because he wished not to tour anymore. Burns played on Lynyrd Skynyrd’s first two albums 1973’s (Pronounced ‘Lĕh-‘nérd ‘Skin-‘nérd) and 1974’s Second Helping. Jeff Kaplan, A Day To Remember Sound Engineer Struck And Killed By Car

Jeff Kaplan, A Day To Remember’s sound engineer, was tragically struck and killed on the side of the highway in Maryland early Wednesday Morning. Lana Del Rey Responds To Francis Bean Cobain

In the ensuing media frenzy over Lana Del Rey’s comments about death in a recent Guardian interview, Frances Bean Cobain, whose father is known for his infamous suicide in April 1994, condemned her remarks and went after her on twitter. Slayer Guitarist Jeff Hanneman Dies At 49

Slayer guitarist Jeff Hanneman passed away yesterday of liver failure after contracting a rare skin-tissue disease two years ago. Our condolences go out to the Hanneman family.
