Boston Calling Closes Out Day 3 With The Front Bottoms, Janelle Monae, HAIM

With Saturday’s crazy hot temps out of the way, Boston proves that if you don’t like the weather, just wait a day and it’s bound to change. In the case of this weekend, it’s gone from a sweltering 90 degrees Saturday to a cool, cloudy 57 on Sunday. HAIM Announce Tour

Sister rock-trio HAIM announced several North American and select European tour dates yesterday. The band was already announced to play Boston Calling and New York’s Governors Ball. Following their 2013 release, Days Are Gone (Polydor Records), HAIM have recorded with Stevie Nicks, toured with Taylor Swift, been nominated for a GRAMMY, and their music has appeared on major motion picture soundtracks like The Hunger Games: Mockingjay – Part 1. A new album is long overdue. According to these tweets, the band is (thankfully) “just getting started.” HAIM’s tour kicks off on May 17 in Santa Ana, California. See the full list of dates…

Lollapalooza 2016 Lineup Announced

Lollapalooza celebrates 25 years this summer with a four-day weekend. From July 28 – July 31, Chicago’s Grant Park will be transformed into a massive festival grounds, with Radiohead, Red Hot Chili Peppers and LCD Soundsystem headlining. ANNOUNCEMENT: Release Date Set For The Killers Frontman Brandon Flowers New Solo Album

After 3 years of no new releases by The Killers (besides their annual Christmas singles and greatest hits compilation) frontman Brandon Flowers is set to release his second solo album The Desired Effect on May 18 through Island Records. The first single off the album “Can’t Deny My Love” will be released March 23. Scarlett Johansson Forms New Girl Group, Premieres Single

You may know her as Black Widow, or Samantha from Her. Now, you may know Scarlett Johansson as a power- pop front woman of The Singles. Johansson has teamed up with Holly Miranda, Kendra Morris, Julia Haltigan and Este Haim to form an all girl supergroup.
