I first heard of indie pop band Bleachers – created by Jack Antonoff (best known as lead guitarist of fun.) and comprised of Antonoff with his pre-fun. band Steel Train – through a lovely little app called Spotify. WATCH: Andre 3000 Plays Jimi Hendrix In Upcoming Film

Andre 3000 will be playing Jimi Hendrix in the upcoming biopic All Is By My Side, directed by 12 Years A Slave writer John Ridley. The film tells the story of Hendrix’s debut album Are You Experienced with narration by Dre. Hayley Atwell, Imogen Poots and Adrian Lester also star. The film will hit theaters September 26, 2014.
