Oli Sykes Posts Statement Regarding Ian Watkins, Lostprophets

Ex-Lostprophets vocalist Ian Watkins was sentenced to 35 years in prison for criminal molestation charges. Many members of the rock community have felt the shock of the case and heinous crimes Watkins committed. Lostprophets Ian Watkins Gets 35 Years

The Cardiff Crown Court (United Kingdom) sentenced former Lostprophets front man, Ian Watkins to 35 years in prison for 13 child sex offenses. Among the charges, the 36-year old Watkins stands accused of fondling a female fan’s infant son prior to attempting to rape the child. Ian Watkins (Lostprophets) Pleads Guilty To 11 Charges

Nearly a year ago we brought you the report of Lostprophets frontman, Ian Watkins and the web of allegations surrounding his alleged involvement in various sex crimes. Since then, he has pled guilty to 11 counts of child endangerment and sex crimes, including child pornography and the attempted rape of a 1 year old. According to the Irish Independent, former Lostprophets front man Ian Watkins has been placed on suicide watch several times. Watkins is set to stand trial for charges stemming from a 2012 arrest.
