Sonisphere 2014 Lineup Expands

The British music festival, Sonisphere, has recently announced several additions to its lineup for the upcoming July 4-6 event in Knewbworth Park, England. Among the bands included in the latest addition to the festival’s roster are thrash metal icons Slayer, rock legends Alice in Chains and heavy metal veterans Mastadon, along with Airbourne, Ghost, Gojira and Karnivool. AJ Maddah, promoter for hard and heavy Australian festival Soundwave, previously announced that a second round of bands playing the bill will be revealed in early October, but for now, some new information surrounding the 2014 lineup has surfaced. Iron Maiden’s Beer To Be Served At UK House Of Commons

Legendary rock stars Iron Maiden are serving up their own brew to members of Parliament at the British House of Commons bar.  Trooper Ale, whose packaging features a similar logo to the 1983 single of the same name along with the band’s mascot Eddie the Head,  has secured a spot behind the bar via the House of Commons’ guest ale program, where ministers are allowed to introduce a beer to a fellow serving member.
