I first heard of indie pop band Bleachers – created by Jack Antonoff (best known as lead guitarist of fun.) and comprised of Antonoff with his pre-fun. band Steel Train – through a lovely little app called Spotify. WATCH: Bleachers Perform Live On VH1

Bleachers (Jack Antonoff of fun.) performed a live set for VH1’s Make a Band Famous competition this past week. After winning big at the Grammy’s, fun. is not ready to slow down. This month, they kick off their Most Night tour with special guests, Tegan and Sara. The shows run from July through September and might lead to some new inspiration for an upcoming record. fun. Opens Today Show Summer Concert Series

fun. had a special performance on Friday May, 24 on the Jersey Shore to celebrate its reopening since the destruction from Hurricane Sandy. Among other songs, the trio played their record-breaking songs “Some Nights,” “Carry On,” and “We Are Young.” They were the first performance of many this summer as part of the Today Show’s 2013 Toyota Concert Series.
