The Front Bottoms Perform At Jersey Shore Festival

Starting off with Probervial at 11:50 AM, the Jersey Shore Music Festival will bring 60 bands to 6 stages at First Energy Park in Lakewood on Saturday, July 20. The Front Bottoms, Papadosio, River City Extension, The Hush Sound, Brick + Mortar, Sophistafunk, Aer, the Porchistas, Only Living Boy, Chemtrail, Echo Movement, and many other bands will perform starting 11 AM until midnight with a general admission fee of $28. fun. Opens Today Show Summer Concert Series

fun. had a special performance on Friday May, 24 on the Jersey Shore to celebrate its reopening since the destruction from Hurricane Sandy. Among other songs, the trio played their record-breaking songs “Some Nights,” “Carry On,” and “We Are Young.” They were the first performance of many this summer as part of the Today Show’s 2013 Toyota Concert Series. ALBUM REVIEW: Casey Desmond ‘Déjà Vu’

Right from the get go, Casey Desmond’s album is full of dynamic beats and interesting vocals. It seems Desmond has taken a cue from Swedish sensation Robyn, using poppy vocals with beats as a background. Although the sound may be familiar,  it is still a fun listen.
