Mumford & Sons Going On Hiatus

Mumford & Sons are taking a breather. In a new interview with Rolling Stone, the multiple Grammy award winning band announced that they will be taking a long break now that the tour to support their latest album, Babel, has wrapped up. Surviving Doors To Reunite For Manzarek Tribute

A live tribute to the founding member and late keyboardist of The Doors, Ray Manzarek, has been confirmed for later this year. The two surviving members,  Robby Krieger and John Densmore, told Rolling Stone that at least one big send off show is in the works. Krieger and Manzarek had begun performing together again in 2011. They had a show in Orange County planned for August of this year, with Krieger gaining knowledge of Manzarek’s cancer only a few months before his passing in May. Bosnian Rainbows (ex-Mars Volta) Release “Morning Sickness” Single

Bosnian Rainbows, for those who haven’t heard yet, is Omar Rodriguez-Lopez’ (lead singer of The Mars Volta) new band. The band also consists of vocalist Teri Gender-Bender, percussionist Deantoni Parks and keyboardist Nicci Kasper. Bosnian Rainbows’ sound is not really anything like the orchestrated chaos that was The Mars Volta. This time Rodriguez-Lopez took a more alt-pop influenced approach to his music.
