WATCH: ‘Surfpunks’ Los Angeles Punk Scene Documentary

Up on Youtube is a 1981 Dutch documentary called Surfpunks. The movie chronicles the early west coast punk scene and includes interviews with many of the people who lived through it. It also features live footage from bands like Suicidal Tendencies and other local legends. Perhaps the most interesting part of Surfpunks is the history and stories about punk pioneers, the Germs.
