Sylar Release Linkin Park Cover, Profits To Go To National Alliance On Mental Illness

The unfortunate passing of Linkin Park vocalist Chester Bennington has brought even more awareness of mental health to the scene, and many bands have spoken out about the need to provide help and resources. Sylar recorded a cover of Linkin Park’s “Points Of Authority” before Bennington’s passing, but have decided to release the track. All profits will go to NAMI (National Alliance On Mental Illness). LISTEN: Of Mice & Men, “Never Giving Up”

Last year, Of Mice & Men released their album, Restoring Force. The album has been successful commercially, bringing the band to new heights and allowing them to tour with rock giants Linkin Park. The Rise Records outfit still had more up their sleeves, though.
