Blink-182 Finish Recording New Album

It has been a while, but  Blink-182 are ready to come back into the limelight. The group will be releasing new music very soon with new vocalist Matt Skiba. According to drummer Travis Barker, Blink’s newest album has finished recording. During a busy weekend at his annual Musink Festival, Barker spoke with Punkvideosrock.com‘s Robert Herrera, stating “the album’s done, I’ll be honest with everybody” and the group have written “26 or 27” songs for the release.  Check out Barker’s full interview after the jump! ANNOUNCEMENT: A Day To Remember To Open Blink-182 Show

Following this week’s announcement that Blink-182 will be hitting up San Diego’s SOMA venue, A Day To Remember have today been announced as support. The show will be Blink’s first performance with Alkaline Trio‘s Matt Skiba and with the venue’s capacity of just over 3,000, will be very, very intimate (for Blink’s standards, anyway.) Tom DeLonge Denies Quitting Blink-182

Earlier today, it was announced that Tom DeLonge had quit Blink-182. DeLonge has now denied actually quitting the band, but has said that he wants to explore his non-musical activities which will limit his availablity this year. Matt Skiba of Alkaline Trio will be filling in for the Musink Festival, which Blink-182 was just announced to headline prior to this issue. Check more details here.
