Passion Pit Announce Third Album

Passion Pit released a teaser video for a new album. The third album by the band will be named Kindred and be their first studio LP since 2012. The album will be released in April of this year. After the video, Passion Pit also posted a Tweet with an image showing morse code for “KINDRED I PUT MY HANDS IN THE AIR AND MY KNEES TO THE GROUND” (interpreted by a fan). Passion Pit‘s Michael Angelakos took part in a video by Stereogum to discuss his Bi-Polar disorder last week. As part of the campaign #StrongerThanStigma by Bring Change 2 Mind and Project 375. Passion Pit Co-Founder Ian Hultquist Leaves Band

Passion Pit Co-Founder and guitar player and keyboardist Ian Hultquist announced on Twitter his departure from the band on October 28, 2014. Hultquist requested to collaborate with singer Michael Angelakos in 2007 and have worked together in Passion Pit since, adding the rest of the members afterwards. Boston Calling Announces 3-Day Format & Holiday Pre-Sale

The ever-popular Boston Calling Music Festival announced that they will be adding a Friday date to the third installment of the festival in May.
