LIVE REVIEW: Black Bottom Lighters Album Release Show

Reggae concerts, in my opinion, are a very diverse event that will attract people of different backgrounds, genders and preferences. I think that is what makes it such a great environment. There is no judging, no mosh pits or fights (except for those few people that have had one too many). This album release show was the epitome of fans coming together to support a common love.

How To Fall In Love With Your Own Lyrics

People sometimes ask me, “Do you consider your lyrics to be poetry?”  I always reply, “I’m not trying to write poetry; I’m trying to write words I mean.”  The truth is, there isn’t really any difference between lyrics and poetry. People sometimes ask, “Who even listens to lyrics anymore?”  The answer is: Everyone who sings them.  If you’re a performing songwriter, singing your own words night after night, your ability to love your lyrics is a part…

The Exposed ‘Static Armageddon’ Review

If there’s such a thing as love at first site in the music industry (and let’s be honest, there is) then UK punk rock veterans, The Exposed are just that for Infectious Magazine. Since our very first interview with the band on the 2011 Vans Warped Tour, it’s been a lot of passionate car singing to their 2010 debut, In The Face Of Resistance, and a lot of wondering when the band would follow up that masterpiece.
