Lorde Wins Song Of The Year For “Royals,” Performs At Grammys

It is probably no surprise, but the teenage New Zealand native claimed the prize of Song of the Year at the Grammy’s. The singer/songwriter also won the category of Best Solo Pop Performance. fun. members Nate Ruess and Jack Antonoff have been nominated for several Grammy Awards. Ruess has been nominated for Song of the Year and Best Pop Duo and Group Performance for P!nk’s song “Just Give Me A Reason.” Ruess co-wrote and sang the song. Indie-pop duo, Cults, have released their first full-length single from their forthcoming album, Static, set for a release date of October 15 via Columbia Records. Earlier today the psychedelic garage-pop duo known as Foxygen released a music video for the song, “No Destruction,” off their 2012 release, We Are The 21st Century Ambassadors Of Peace & Magic.
