Station To Station Project To Include Dan Deacon, Ariel Pink And More

The Station To Station Project will be launched this fall. It is also referred to as “Nomadic Happening” and is the brain child of multimedia artist Doug Aitken. This fall there will be a train that will make 10 stops between New York and San Francisco. On each one of these stops many artists will collaborate in different mediums. Bonnaroo has announced that they will be providing free webcasts of a number of performers on the 2013 edition of the festival: Beach House, Dirty Projectors, Foals, Japandroids, Kendrick Lamar, Matt and Kim, Nas, The National, Portugal. Avey Tare (Animal Collective) Side Project, Slasher Flicks, Makes Live Debut

Avey Tare, founding member of the psychedelic mind trip known as Animal Collective, announced back in April of this year that he had started a new band called Slasher Flicks with Angel Deradoorian (ex-Dirty Projectors) and Jeremy Hyman (ex-Ponytail).
