Earlier this year, Sheeran said that he plans to go on a hiatus after his current tour draws to a close. Sheeran hinted at signing artists during his hiatus. Chris Fronzak, vocalist of Attila, has launched his own music label called Stay Sick. Originally a clothing line, the label is an Imprint label in conjunction with Artery Recordings. Equal Vision Records has added the band Idlehands to their roster. The band is scheduled to release their debut full length album later this year. The album is currently being recorded in Portland, Oregon with producer Kris Crummett. Pre-orders have not yet been released. Equal Vision Records have been up to a lot lately. Pete Wentz Announces DCD2 Records

Following Pete Wentz’s tweet about an upcoming announcement, Wentz announced the relaunch of record label as DCD2 Records. This new name is the next chapter for his label previously called Decaydance Records. LOLO (featured on Panic! At The Disco’s “Miss Jackson”) and New Politics (opening for Fall Out Boy and Paramore on Monumentour) are the first bands signed to this new label. Triple Crown Records has added Foxing to their roster. Foxing is an emo/indie band from Saint Louis, MO. The band will be releasing a remixed and remastered version of their release, The Albatross.
