George Harrison’s Beetle Infested Memorial Tree Has Been Replaced

On Wednesday, one of rock and roll’s most famous dead tree has been replaced. Last year, the Canary Island pine tree originally planted in memory of George Harrison in 2004 died after a severe beetle infestation. The fallen tree has been replaced by a 10-foot tall yew pine on February 25, which would have been Harrison’s 72nd birthday.
